Customer is Responsible For:
- Supplying the completed page ladder (Sample Ladder provided)
- Creating all candid folders directly in the software
- Uploading all candid and event photos directly into Pictavo folders
- Placement of all candid photos into the pre-set templates
- Any photo editing, cropping, retouching, or corrections
- Adding all written material, including text, captions, and names
- Reviewing, approving, and submitting the cover and completed pages

Please review these important terms and customer responsibilities before starting your YBLifeLine project.
Photo Handling Limitation
Important: YearbookLife does not upload, organize, select, edit, retouch, or correct customer photos. Photos must be submitted organized into Pictavo folders.
Deposit Requirement
A deposit of 25% is due before any design work can be started on your school’s yearbook pages.
Additional Fees
Services or requests outside the listed scope—including additional revisions, extensive page changes, photo management, or content changes—may result in additional fees. Any charges will be communicated before work is performed.
Here’s What You Need to Know:
- Custom pricing: Contact us for your custom pricing. Pricing varies according to your book specifications, page count, and binding.
- Page count adjustments: If page count decreases, but pages have already been designed, the customer is still charged for all finished pages.
- Custom cover specifications: Custom cover includes choice of background, school name, and year. Any other customization will incur other fees; contact your designer for pricing.
- Pictavo Portal photo uploads: All photos must be submitted through the Pictavo Portal. Any photos not uploaded to the Pictavo Portal are charged $5 per photo.
- Written content submission: All text, including but not limited to captions, headers, and student names, must be submitted in MS Word or a Google Document.
- Digital PDF Proof: Once your book is complete, customers receive a free high-resolution digital PDF proof for review and approval.
Edits to Book (After PDF Proof):
- Edits 1 – 15: No Charge (included free!)
- Each additional Text edit: $2.00 each
- Each additional Photo edit: $5.00 each
